Abuja, July 14, 21017 (NAN) The National Association of Nigerian Travel Agency (NANTA) says it will introduce the use of Identity Card by its members to enhance professionalism and check fraudulent practices in the sector.

“We are going to launch our Identity Card Scheme; every practitioner that is a travel agency must have an ID card, including both employers and employees.
“So, when people (gather around) you and you take their numbers, we verify whether they are NANTA members.
“If they are not NANTA members then they are doing illegal business.
“The truth is that we will always have illegal people in every industry.
“But we have come up with a policy to flush them out.
“By August we would have started implementing our ID card scheme.
“That will help in flushing out the miscreants in our industry.’’
