Minna, Oct. 30,2017( NAN) Alhaji Ahmed Dogara, former member of Niger House of Assembly on Monday advised the state Governor Abubakar Bello to appoint God-fearing and committed progressives as commissioners in his cabinet.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Gov. Bello, on Oct 11, dissolved the State Executive Council.
The dissolution came through a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Jibrin Ndace.
Dogara told NAN in Minna that appointment of sincere and committed persons would enable him to execute his campaign promises.
According to him, the success of any government depends largely on the type of people who serve at a particular time.
He said that appointing credible members would provide qualitative leadership.
He advised that only those that would be accessible to people would be able to make the ruling party. APC, stronger at grassroots level.(NAN)
