Alleged unlawful dismissal: Court fixes Nov.17 for adoption of addresses

Abuja,Oct.24,2017 (NAN) The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has fixed Nov.17 for the adoption of written addresses in a suit instituted by one Enitan Lisk- Carew, against the Civil Defence, Immigration and Prisons Service Board.
Lisk-Carew, an officer with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), is challenging his alleged unlawful dismissal from the corps in 2006.
The claimant joined the Speaker, House of Representatives and the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation as co- respondents.
The aggrieved officer is asking the court to order the respondents to reinstate him to his former position as well as pay him all his entitlements.
At the resumed hearing on Tuesday, Justice Edith Agbakoba, by consent of parties fixed Nov.17 for adoption of written addresses by parties.
The claimant was represented in court by his counsel, Mr Egang Agabi.
The respondents were also represented in court by their counsel (NAN)
