Dutse, Nov. 25, 2016 (NAN) Jigawa State Primary Health Care Development Agency (PHCDA) has commenced an orientation course for its new accountants.
The Executive Secretary of the agency, Dr Kabiru Ibrahim, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse on Friday.
Ibrahim said the beneficiaries were recently posted to the agency, hence the need to train them on how accounting work is done in the healthcare agency.
He added that the gesture was also to acquaint the participants with financial rules and regulations.
The executive secretary, therefore, urged them to work closely with administrators of the agency in order to ensure maximum productivity.
Ibrahim disclosed that the participants were drawn from health posts of Gwaram, Roni, Maigatari and Taura Local Government Areas of the state. (NAN)
