Dutse, Jan. 24, 2017 (NAN) The Jigawa Government says it will soon employ 450 health workers for more efficient healthcare delivery in the state.
Alhaji Musa Aliyu, the Spokesperson for the state Ministry of Health, disclosed this in Dutse on Tuesday while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He said that Gov. Muhammad Badaru had directed the health ministry to employ 450 health workers to enhance healthcare delivery in the state.
Aliyu said that priority would be given to those who graduated from the School of Health Technology, Jahun.
He said that 15 graduates of the school would be employed from each of the 30 constituencies in the state.
Aliyu urged all interested candidates to obtain application forms from the state Civil Service Commission (CSC) and forward them to the office of the Commissioner for Health immediately.
The spokesman said that examination would be conducted at the premises of the School of Health Technology in Jahun Local Government area of the state on Feb. 2 by 10 a.m.
He said that the gesture was part of the state government’s effort to improve healthcare delivery, particularly in rural communities.
Aliyu said that the successful candidates would be posted to general hospitals and other health facilities across the 27 local government areas of the state. (NAN)
