Empowerment
Argungu, (Kebbi) Jan. 19, 2017 (NAN) Alhaji Bello Dantani, the member representing Argungu/Augie Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, (APC), has distributed materials worth N50 million to mostly youths from his constituency to empower them.
Dantani who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Argungu on Thursday, said beneficiaries were drawn from Argungu and Augie local government areas.
He said he distributed 60 motorcycles, 100 water pumping machines, 60 grinding machines and 60 vulcanising equipments to the beneficiaries.
He said the project, which would be expanded in due course, was part of the fulfillment of his campaign promises to the people in his constituency.
The lawmaker commended the people of the area for engaging themselves in agriculture and other productive ventures that would boost their daily income.
He also promised to give his constituency the best representation through the sponsoring of motions and bills that would benefit them, the state and the country at large at the lower chamber of the National Assembly (NASS).
Dantani advised the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items he distributed to them. (NAN)
