“The entertainment industry is the only industry that is not affected by recession. While other industries were retrenching, the entertainment industry was growing.

“Nigeria entertainment industry will be number one in the world; we will be able to generate about $ 8.9 billion.

“So, they are actually concretising what we have been working on that the industry is the only industry that can take us out of recession.

“There is already a research and work structure where we can generate over fifty trillion from local content. That is only for music.

“So, if you join movie, fashion design and you join visual art, it will sky rocket. So, basically, this year, we are expecting an extra boom.

“Nigerian music industry is number one in Africa. West Indies like in Aruba Island and Trinidad and Tobago, they collect tax on Nigerian music and Nigerian movies.’’
