Kano Govt. pledges to complete Janguza-Kabo road

Kano, Dec. 30, 2016 (NAN) The Kano State Government has re-affirmed its commitment toward completing the Janguza- Kabo-Karaye road to boost socio-economic activities in the state.

The Commissioner for Works, Housing, Land and Regional Planning , Alhaji Shehu Haruna, made the promise when he met with the  people of Janguza and its environs in Kano on Friday.

A statement by Alhaji Mohammed Sani, the Public Relations Officer in the state’s Ministry of Works, Housing and Land, quoted Haruna as saying “the construction of  Kabo – Karaye road is in progress.’’

Haruna said government had provided bore holes at Janguza Barracks with water tank just as in Zangon Dan Audu, Sakaratsa and Lambu.

Haruna said additional bore holes for Yanoko Atawa, and Rimin Gado were  in the offing.

Leader of the delegation, Alhaji Ado Lambu applauded government’s efforts  at executing viable projects that will ensure that the business atmosphere in Sabon Gari market was conducive after the recent destruction by fire. (NAN)
