Productivity

Kano, Dec. 19, 2016 (NAN) The Commissioner of Works and Housing in Kano State, Alhaji Shehu Haruna, has called for more productivity by the staff of the ministry of works and housing.
Haruna made the call on Monday during a familiarisation tour to the departments of the ministry to meet with the workers.
He said that the government would continue to provide equipment to enable the staff perform their duties effectively.
Haruna said that the administration of Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje was committed to executing projects for the benefit of the people.
The commissioner called on the staff to give maximum cooperation to ensure successful execution of government programmes.
Haruna assured the staff of an open door policy which he said would strengthen good understanding between the management and other staff members.
Earlier, the Director of Administrator and General Services in the ministry, Alhaji Mohammed Sambo, reminded the workers of the challenges to their work.
Sambo assured the commissioner of the cooperation of workers to achieve the desired objectives. (NAN)
