Lafia, Nov. 15, 2016 (NAN) An Ambassadorial nominee from Nasarawa State, Alhaji Musa Ilu, has urged Nigerians to be patient while President Buhari strives to fix the economy.

Ilu made the plea in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lafia on Tuesday.

According to him, “policies and decisions being undertaken by the APC led administration under President Muhammadu Buhari would soon end the economic recession that has brought untold hardship to the people”.

He appealed to Nigerians to pray for the success of Buhari’s government.

“Sustained prayers by the adherents of the two major religions in the country will definitely assist the president other elected and appointed leaders to overcome both economic and security challenges hindering the growth and speedy development of the country.”

Ilu, who is also the Director-General, Tanko Al-makura (TAAL) Campaign Organisation, commended the governor’s achievements in education, health, security and infrastructure development.

He appealed to the people of the state to bury their differences and unite for the overall development of the state.

Ilu also stressed the need for Nigerians to be united and live in peace with one another, adding that “without peace and unity, socioeconomic development will continue to elude any society”.

According to him, “history has shown that countries that make progress are those whose communities live in peace with each other”. (NAN)
