Kpop Gwong backs El-Rufai’s reorganisation of traditional institution

Kafanchan (Kaduna) July 2, 2018 (NAN) The Kpop Gwong in Jema’a Local Government Area, Mr Paul Wyom has described recent reorganisation of districts in Kaduna State by Gov. Nasir El-Rufai as a good foundation for the future.

The traditional ruler made the remark on Monday at Fadan Kagoma after the turbanning of three district heads approved for the chiefdom by the state government.

Wyom urged his subjects not to despair over the reduction in the number of the district heads in the chiefdom, stressing that they must accept all situations as they unfold.

The monarch charged the people to respect constituted authority and put their trust in God for guidance in all circumstances.

While appreciating the state government for the development, the traditional ruler challenged the people to live godly lives to attract God’s blessings in all their endeavours.

In a goodwill message, the member representing Kachia/Kagarko Federal Constituency, Mr Adams Jagaba stressed the need for peaceful coexistence among the different ethnic groups in the area to pave way for meaningful development.

Responding on behalf of the new district heads, Mr Andrew Dogo of Fadan Kagoma district, appreciated the state Government and the Kpop Gwong for the appointments and promised to justify the confidence reposed in them

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that others turbaned were Mr Barnabas Samaila, for Asso District and Mr Samuel Maichibi Wyah as District Head of Bisat Fori. (NAN)
