Prayers
By Victor Adeoti
Osogbo, April 29, 2018 (NAN) The General Overseer of the Holy Ghost Power Assembly Worldwide, Osogbo, Rev. Adesola Olubadejo, has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for the peace, unity and stability of the country.
Olubadejo , who made the call during the church service on Sunday in Osogbo, said the nation needs prayers more than ever before to overcome its challenges.
According to him, there is no other solution to the current challenges facing the country than prayers.
“Only Jesus Christ and prayers can revive Nigeria’s economy and solve every other challenge the country is facing.
” By the grace of God and with prayers, the nation will continue to progress economically and peace will continue to reign in the land,’’ the cleric said.
Olubadejo said that the church would use its forthcoming 23rd Interdenominational Holy Ghost Convention holding between Tuesday and May 6 to pray for the peace and progress of the nation.
He also commended the Federal Government’s anti-corruption fight.
Olubadejo, however, urged government to use the recovered stolen money for the development of the country. (NAN)
