Man docked for allegedly stealing 2 air conditioners

Abuja, April 17 , 2018 (NAN)The Police on Tuesday arraigned one Ayuba Danfilia, in a Kado Grade 1 Area Court, Abuja, for allegedly stealing two air conditioners.
Danfilia of Mpape, Abuja, is standing trial on a count charge of theft, an offence he denied committing.
The prosecutor, Zannah Dalhatu, told the court that one Shegun Adegbola of Orozo, Abuja, reported the matter at the Utako Police Station, Abuja, on April 9.
The prosecutor told the court that the defendant, on the same date, allegedly formed criminal intention and stole two air conditioners, valued at N180, 000 from Wraper Resource Centre Utako.
Dalhatu said that the offence contravened Section 288 of the Penal Code.
The judge, Alhaji Ahmed Ado, granted the defendant N50, 000 bail, with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case until April 2, for hearing. (NAN)
