Warri(Delta), Sept. 18, 2016 (NAN) Coach Gbenga Ogunbote of 3SC football club of Ibadan is happy with his team despite losing 0-1 to Warri Wolves in a Nigeria Professional League week 36 match.
Ogunbote told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Warri on Sunday  that though they lost the encounter, his players did well.
The match was played at the Warri township stadium.
“ We played well but were unlucky not to get a goal. We played but lost. We have to go back to the drawing board and work harder,” he said.
Ogunbote also said ”My team has not trained since Sept. 1, however, it was a good game,” .

Sikiru Alimi scored the only when he connected a pull out by team mate, King Osanga in the 23rd minute.
Osanga was later given the red card in the 69th minute for misconduct.

NAN reports that Wolves made several attempts at goal but were very unlucky before Alimi broke the jinx.

3SC  initially put up a lackadaisical play, trying to hold on to the ball in their half of the pitch until they conceded the goal.

The goal, however,  forced them to come out of their shell to get an equaliser.

The Oluyole Warriors as 3SC are fondly called, created some good chances in the second half, but failed to score.

Warri Wolves goalkeeper, Dele Ajiboye, a former player of 3SC, ensured that the visitors did not pick a point in the game as he marshalled the goal post and checked every move by his old team.(NAN)
