“We have been able to have identify four core areas of development, that we’ve see that the game get better in Nigeria, and this four core areas are in the areas of facilities, players, coaches and officials, and this four core points will be driven by sponsorship.

“The crop of senior players or professional players we have now they are getting aged, so grassroots is the way out to identify new players.

“With these four core points, provide facilities for them to be able to play the game and of course get coaches that are up to date because tennis is an evolving game.

“In those days, you have to swing to the back, but now the balls are faster, so you must be taught how to return the ball without swinging too much to the back.

“So these four core areas are the areas we are concentrating on.’’
