Minna, Nov. 3, 2017 (NAN) Malam Bashir Yankuzu, the Chief Imam of Federal University of Technology ( FUT) Minna Central Mosque, has advised Nigerian leaders to always fear God in their daily undertakings.
Yankuzu gave the advice in Minna during his Friday sermon.
He said good governance would only be possible if elected representatives adhered strictly to the principles of justice.
He explained that Nigeria would reach the promise land if leaders at the helm of affairs utilised the nation’s human and mineral resources judiciously.
“‘We should also imbibe the culture of praying to God to guide our chosen leaders,” he said.
He appealed to Nigerians, irrespective of their political, ethnic and religious differences, to pray for President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to succeed in delivering its promises to the citizenry. (NAN)
