Abuja, Sept.26,2017 (NAN) The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has fixed Oct.27, for hearing of the suit instituted by one Radwan Hamoud, against Roda Commercial Ventures Ltd., seeking payment of three years salary and benefits arrears.

Hamoud, whose appointment was allegedly terminated by the respondents on May 1,2015, also joined one Ahmed Jammal and Roda Jammal as co- respondents.

The claimant is asking the court to order the company to pay his one month salary arrear as well as other benefits for the three years he worked for the company.

At the resumed hearing, the respondents’ counsel, Mr Liborous Oshoma, sought for leave of court to file the respondents’ amended statement of defence.

The court granted his application since it was not opposed by claimant’s counsel, Mr Charles Chimezie.

The judge, Justice Edith Agbakoba, thereafter, by consent of parties fixed Oct.27 to enable Oshoma cross examine Hamoud, the claimant.

The claimant who is also asking for damages, had told the court to use his witness statement on oath as his evidence in the suit.

He said that all he wants is for the court to prevail on the respondents to pay him his accrued entitlements.(NAN)
