Benin, Sept. 3, 2017 (NAN) Fun seekers have continued to troop to recreation centres in continuation of public holidays
to celebrate Eid el-Kabir.
A News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent who visited some recreation centres in Benin on Sunday reports that fun seekers were seen spending quality time with friends and family members.
Mr Ayo Tijani, one of such families seen at the Benin Museum situated at King Square, said even though the economic situation was tight for many families, he had to manage and bring the family out for a little get together.
He said “spending time with my family gives me great joy” and prayed that God would give leaders the wisdom to fix
the economy.
Another fun seeker at the Ogba zoo, Mrs Cynthia Osagie, said bringing her children to have a glimpse of animals gave them joy.
Osagie said “making out time to enjoy ourselves is part of an average Nigerian because we are happy people.” (NAN)
