Abuja, July 25, 2017 (NAN) Malam Abdullahi Denja, the President, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) on Tuesday said the association had uploaded a film documentary about its activities since inception till date on YouTube.
Denja disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja that anybody could get authentic information about ANA activities from the documentary.
“Right now, our documentary is on YouTube; a lot of people normally call me for information about ANA; I now refer them accordingly.
“The documentary is also a reference point for the general public to be abreast with the activities of the association since its inception to date.
“Instead of listening to hear say or ‘dem say dem say’, any person can go there and get authentic information about the activities of ANA,” the ANA president said.
He disclosed further that the association would soon publish its writers’ series, a compilation of short stories and poems by members of the association.
“ANA has become very visible and vibrant in the social media; people are now feeling the impact of the association,’’ Denja said.
He said that democratic norms and values had become entrenched in the association.
“A lot of state chapters have done their election; Osun recently conducted its election to bring in members that will steer the wheel of progress.
“We are also working hard to prepare the grounds for better national convention that will hold in Makurdi in October,’’ the ANA president said. (NAN)
