Mararaba (Nasarawa State), June 20, 2017 (NAN) A 27-year-old man, Sarki Ishaya, who allegedly trespassed into his neighbour’s house , was on Tuesday arraigned in a Mararaba Upper Area Court ,Nasarawa State.
Ishaya, who resides at City College, Mararaba, is facing a count charge of criminal trespass to which he pleaded not guilty.
According to the prosecutor, Sgt. Steve Kwaza, the accused committed the offence on June 4 at about 8.30 p.m.
Kwaza said the accused trespassed into the house of one Sunday Yusuf, his neighbour of the same address without his consent.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 348 of the Penal Code.
The judge, Ibrahim Shekarau, granted the accused bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
Shekararu said the surety must reside within the court‘s jurisdiction and adjourned the case until July 4 for hearing. (NAN)
