Ilorin youth group disburses N1.3m to 50 traders as loans

Ilorin, June 19, 2017 (NAN) The Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association  (IEYDA) has disbursed N1.3 million as loans   to more than 50 petty  traders in  the five local councils in the emirate.

The President of the association, Alhaji Babatunde Salaudeen, said in Ilorin on Monday that the association was established to promote  the development of  Ilorin emirate and the state in general.

He called on  the beneficiaries to use the loans  judiciously.

Earlier, the guest speaker, Mallam Abubakar Nda-Salaty, had  urged the members of the association to exhibit piety in dealing with the poor.

Nda-Salaty also stressed  the need for people to contribute toward  the development of their community.

He commended the association for alleviating the suffering of the less privileged in the society while urging  the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money. (NAN)
