Late Kwara United player buried in Ilorin

Ilorin, May 26, 2017 (NAN) The remains of  Kwara United FC left full back,  Saka Azeez, were committed to mother  earth on Friday as sympathisers wept uncontrollably.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports  that Azeez, 24, slumped and died during training on Friday morning at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin.

Azeez, a son to table tennis icon, Kasali Lasisi, was buried at the Muslim Cemetery in Ilorin,  the Kwara capital.

The Special Assistant to Gov.  Abdulfatah Ahmed on Islamic matters, Ustaz Saheed Mohamed,  led sympathisers to observe the janaza prayer for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
NAN reports that many of the team mates of the late player at  Kwara United wept inconsolably as his corpse  was being laid  to rest.

Family members, top government officials as well as Kwara United officials  led by the state Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Bolakale Ayo, were present at the burial.(NAN)
