34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items, to arrive Lagos ports

Lagos, May 25, 2017 (NAN) No fewer than 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from May 24 to June 14.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, `Shipping Position,’ a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.

NPA said that the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, empty containers, bulk corn, base oil, frozen fish, steel products, petrol and containers laden with goods.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that eight ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, aviation fuel and petrol.

NAN reports that 15 other ships are at the ports discharging empty containers, buck wheat, frozen fish, bulk sugar, bulk gas containers and petrol. (NAN)
