Re-dedication
By Dorcas Elusogbon
Ile-Ife (Osun), May 7, 2017 (NAN) Pastor Samuel Oladele, the General Superintendent of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) worldwide, has urged Christians to rededicate their lives to God.
Oladele gave this charge at the thanksgiving Sunday service for the 34th anniversary of Pastor Emmanuel Latunde Memorial Week, held at the CAC Isegun, Moore, Ile-Ife.
He said that Jesus Christ came to the world to give abundant life to humanity and whosoever believed in him would not perish but have everlasting life.
The General Superintendent condemned some Christians, who put all their hopes on the earth, describing them as miserable ones.
He said that some of them had forgotten that they would die one day, even as they were running after perishable things rather than to lay their treasures in heaven.
According to him, death is inevitable, everyone will die and this is why Christians should repent their sins, as anyone whose his or her name is not written in the book of life will be cast into the fiery furnace.
Oladele enjoined Christians to turn over a new life and spend the rest of their lives for Jesus Christ.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the late Pastor Emmanuel Latunde was born in 1905 and died on May 2, 1983. (NAN)
