Ambulance

Ilorin, April 14, 2017 (NAN) The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Kwara said it had created five ambulance points across the three senatorial districts of the state for the Easter period to cater for emergency situations.
The sector Commander of the state, Mr Sunday Maku disclosed this in llorin on Friday in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
He said the five ambulance points were located in llorin which is in Kwara central senatorial district.
Others are in Omuaran and Offa, Kwara south while that of the Kwara North are located in Bodesaadu and Jebba.
Maku said the ambulance points were meant to cater for emergency situations if there was any road accident during the period.
The commander said that the command had also deployed 2,500 personnel to ensure sanity on roads during the period.
He warned motorists in the state against driving under the influence of alcohol and other acts which violates traffic laws.
Maku also said a mobile court has been set up to punish traffic offenders in any part of the state (NAN)
