Lagos March 15, 2017 (NAN) Dr Ferdinand Anikwe, the Director General, Centre for Black Arts and African Civilisation (CBAAC) has called on traditional rulers to make a compilation and publication of Nigeria traditional ethics relevant to their domains.
Anikwe told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos that the royal fathers, being the custodians of culture, were in the best position to give the traditional ethics of the country.

Studying and implementing the ethics would help us to solve some of the problems facing the nation, he said.
He said that his interaction with most of the royal fathers had unraveled the essence of wholly living in the communities and moral instructions of the various traditional institutions.
According to him, all these were supposed to be assembled to produce the traditional ethics of Nigerians.
“We beckon on traditional rulers, being the custodian of culture, to compile the traditional ethics of every community and publish them in a single book.
“Unless we translate what we call paradigm shift to budgetary provisions, then, we will only be merely speaking grammar.
“When these traditional ethics are produced, and studied by Nigerians, it can help solve most of our problems of insecurity, corruption and more.(NAN)
