Abuja, Feb. 19, 2017 (NAN) The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) on Sunday predicted sunny and hazy conditions over the central states of the country on Monday.
NiMet gave the prediction in its Weather Outlook by the Central Forecast Office in Abuja.
It also predicted that the region would have day and night temperature of 26 to 36 degrees Celsius and 11 to 21 degrees Celsius respectively.
The agency predicted that Southern states would experience sunny and hazy conditions with horizontal visibility range of two to five kilometres over Akure, Benin, Abeokuta and Lagos.
It also predicted day and night temperatures of 31 to 36 and 16 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively over the southern states.
According to NiMet, Northern states will be under sunny and hazy conditions with horizontal visibility range of two to five kilometres over Yelwa and Katsina during the forecast period.
“Northern states will also have day and night temperature values in the range of 27 to 36 and 11 to 20 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Sunny and Hazy conditions are expected to prevail over the entire country in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted. (NAN)
