Lagos, Feb. 16, 2017 (NAN) Fidelity Bank Plc has distributed N49 million to customers under its monthly ‘Get Alert in Millions Savings’ promo instituted to strengthen the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) financial inclusion initiative.
Mrs Chijioke Ugochukwu, the bank’s Executive Director, Share Services, said at the 5th Get Alert in Millions Promo Prize Presentation on Thursday in Lagos that the amount was disbursed since the promotion commenced in August 2016.
Ugochukwu said that the outstanding balance of N56 million would be splashed to lucky winners before the end of the promotion.
She said that the bank planned to give away N105 million in cash to potential winners through the initiative, while 138 others would smile home with fridges and generating sets as consolation prizes.
She called on the customers to embrace the bank’s financial empowerment initiative before it’s closure.
Ugochukwu described the promotion as timely and accepted in the banking industry due to its uniqueness and cash concentration.
According to her, the bank over the past nine years, through initiatives, had supported the government initiatives and imbibed the saving culture among the populace.
Ugochukwu stated that the bank would continue to promote wealth creation and financial empowerment among its customers.
She said that eight million naira was won by the customers in the fifth draw, with a Lagos customer winning one million naira, with two going home with electric generator and refrigerator.
“To qualify for the promo, It is so easy, just open a savings account and grow it to N20,000 or top up existing account with N10,000 or more to qualify for monthly draws to win up to N3 million.
You can also grow your account balance by N50,000 monthly to qualify for quarterly draws to win star prize of N5 million,” she added. (NAN)
