Kano Govt. to revive Triumph Publishing Company soon-Commissioner

Kano Feb. 15, 2017 (NAN) The Kano state government said it would soon revive the state-owned Triumph publishing company, publishers of Triumph newspapers in Kano when he visited the abandoned Triumph publishing company.

He said that the visit was to assess the condition of the company in a bid to make necessary provision for its revival.

The commissioner said, “The ministry will swing into action as directed by Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje to make a face-lift for the Triumph Company so as to compete with rest of the newspapers in the country.”

Lambu pledged to mobilise a team of engineers to the site to comply with the directive of the governor.

The Commissioner for Information, Sports and Culture, Mr Muhammed Garba, who accompanied Lambu to the occasion,the Ganduje administration was committed to revive the company,protect and restore its lost glory in the media industry in Nigeria.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the company was shut by the immediate past administration due to unresolved issues relating to the management of the company. (NAN)
