Zango council chairman commends authorities over provision of adequate security

Zango (Katsina State), Feb 14, 2017 (NAN) The Zango Local Government Area of Katsina State has commended the state government and the Daura Emirate Council for providing adequate security that has boosted peaceful coexistence in the area.
Alhaji Sale Tsagero, the interim administrator of Zango Council gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Zango on Tuesday.
Tsagero described the steps taken by both the state government and the emirate council in ensuring permanent security in the area as a welcome development.
He said the people of the area have been living peacefully and promised to sustain the tempo, adding that without peace there would be no development.

He said the area have been enjoying relative peace and stability for a very long time, stressing the recent tour conducted by emir of Daura, has further enlightened our people on peaceful coexistence.
“The state government has generally promoted peace in the state and instances of security breach have been curtailed.’’
He said the local council would do everything possible to ensure continued peace and stability in the area, adding “we hardly record any serious breach of peace.’’
Tsagero appreciated the efforts of the Daura Emirate Council in promoting school enrolment in the entire emirate. (NAN)
