Lagos, March 28, 2018 (NAN) Two men, who allegedly stole a tricycle valued at N400,000, were on Wednesday charged before an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court.
The accused are: Seun Ekundayo, 29, an electrician, of 32, Aina Adubuleja St., Alakuko and Micheal Bakare, 25,a resident of 18, Busari St., Alakuko, both in Lagos State.

“The complainant, Mr Tobi Aderibigbe, parked his tricycle in front of his house and at about 4.00 a. m. , he came outside and still met it where it was parked.
“The complainant after about an hour later went outside and discovered that the tricycle was not where he parked it anymore.
“Efforts to locate the tricycle valued at N400, 000 proved abortive,” he said.
Akeem said that the tricycle was later found at Abule- Egba,an outskirt of Lagos.
” When the person riding it was asked how he came about it, he said the first accused (Ekundayo) sold it to him.
“Hence, they were arrested,” he said.
The prosecutor said that the offences contravened Sections 287 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2015.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
