Dutse, Jan. 24, 2016 (NAN) The Ringim Local Education Authority (LEA), has conducted a two-day induction course for 140 teachers under the Federal Government’s N-POWER programme.
Malam Muttaka Nababi, the Information Officer for the area, confirmed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Dutse on Monday.
Nababi said that the Education Secretary of the council, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad, explained that the training was to acquaint the beneficiaries with basic rudiments for teaching.
He added that the secretary further said it was also to prepare them for the tasks ahead.
He said Malam Kabiru Ibrahim, the programme’s Coordinator in the area, commended the LEA and resources persons for the training.
“Ibrahim said the training would provide the beneficiaries with basic knowledge and skills of teaching.’’ (NAN)
